Homicide has been on a 50 year decline. You refuse to acknowledge that fact, even though I have presented overwhelming evidence of it. Homicide has increased slightly this last 18 months from a record low in 2019. It is still lower than 5 years ago.

Shootings are up, burglary is up, car breakins remain at a very high level. All that is true. But the claim that violent crime is up from before 2019 is not supportable by the evidence.
