Arguing crime numbers on Twitter is a battle I haven't time for, but I'll leave you with this. If you want to talk real FBI data, then I will stick with the conclusion the SF Chronicle has drawn numerous times. There isn't a crime rate, and crime isn't up.https://www.sfchronicle.com/opinion/editorials/article/Editorial-No-the-Bay-Area-is-not-in-the-midst-16321086.php …

Produce wealth disparity through racism, and then attempt to incarcerate your way out of the results? What you're asking for is evil and racist, no society in the history of man has ever been more brutal and we have absolutely nothing to show for 40 years of it.pic.twitter.com/dwbZRSDaDk

I have to tell ya, when somebody calls me a "racist" or a "fascist", I know I have won the argument.

I may have missed something but I see only a critique of outmoded hard on crime practice which has created so much crime - its roots in racism slavery and slave-wage employment.

Yes, racism from more than one and a half century ago totally justifies why we don't jail drug dealers, shrug at 700 OD dead last year and let repeat violent offenders of the hook who then go on to murder innocents.

You might wish that our modern system of
#MassIncarceration wasn't obviously racist, but it is, where our population if 5% black and its prisons contain 50%+ black people, in a pandemic imprisoning them for minor offences is racist, & in pandemic genocide.https://twitter.com/chesaboudin/status/1172034132437655553 …Paul added,
1:39Chesa Boudin 博徹思Verified account @chesaboudinSome don't care about ending mass incarceration. Others think we've done enough. I'll break down why the're wrong: Less than 5% of SF is black but approx. 50% of the jail is black; SF's incarceration rate for African Americans is way higher than any other major American city. pic.twitter.com/Rgh2e9aCpgShow this thread2 replies 1 retweet 3 likes -

All prisons contain 50% black because they commit all the crimes and it's not our fault that the jails shake out that way. Forget about drugs and just look at violent crimes and you'll see the truth but you'll ignore it because you have the liberal veil over your eyes.

Except we prosecute drugs differently between white and black people. The differences for crack vs powder cocaine are well documented.

Poor neighborhoods are overpoliced compared to poor neighborhoods too, so arrests are racially biased too.
