Why are we talking about 56 years ago or even 2019? All that matters is 2021. How are murders in 2021?

Less than 5 years ago, less than 10 years ago. You must be very new to San Francisco if you think violent crime has been trending up lately. Violent crime rates are up all over the country. Less so in SF. Which disproves your narrative that it is because of the DA.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/29/us/homicide-rise-us-report/index.html … “A study of homicides during the first six months of this year in 22 cities showed that the number of murders increased by 16% compared to the same period in 2020 and by 42% compared to the first six months of 2019.”

Did Boudin cause murder rates to go up nationwide or was it some other strange thing that made 2020 and the first half of 2021 different than the past?

@the_watcher found some other cities where it went up more.pic.twitter.com/O60cfpXVfG

YTD homicides remain very low. If you cherry pick enough statistics you will find something to support you narrative. Why didn’t you get enough signatures to get on the ballot by Aug 11.

So we agree that crime is down, violent crime is down, murder is flat and “gun violence” is up. Right?

The graph is from The Chronicle you should take it up with them. It shows murder over time, which is what it means to show Did you know in the early 90s the murder rate in SF was the same as Oakland now? That’s how you can spot a nuub, they cry about the “increase” in violence.
