    Don't blink or you'll miss it! We've naturalized our first social path! Social paths form when existing trails are bypassed. The new trails cause significant erosion and are harmful to the area. Naturalizing them deters users from taking them.

    DYK? Trees are sensitive to local climate conditions & their growth rings can tell us about past conditions. Tree rings typically grow wider in warm, wet years & thinner in cold or dry years & if the tree experienced drought it might hardly grow in those years!
