Defense-tech geeks, help me out here: If drones etc can pinpoint target enemies so precisely they can use minimal or non-explosive payloads, is there a reason operators don't load them up with environmentally-appropriate debris (rocks etc) drop THAT and let it look accidental?

Thatnis a horror story I hear at work regularly. The reason nobody does it is because it would be so easy and they fear retalitation.

It gets brought up fairly often "what if our enemies start deploying assassination drones to target leaders?" And they kinda try to ignore that we already do exactly that, and justify it by saying it prevents collateral damage and saves lives on both sides of the war.
