The difference is that Texans can be louder, which can come ass almost as aggressive. Most midwesterns don't have that "don't mess with texas" price, so it's a way more lowkey nice.

I'm from Michigan, Currently live in Florida, but have lived all over as well... Nothing like Midwesterns, best of the best. We are basically Canadians with US passport :)

Haha that's so true!

Nicest by far! Went to a Brewers game in Milwaukee with three friends from Philly, all of us wearing red Phillies hats. Within 10 minutes, the row in front of us bought us beers and the row behind us bought us popcorn & peanuts. In Philly, you’d be wearing the beer and nuts...

When you get to the Athens GA portion of your extenda stay, I think you should go to Savannah....I think you and your family would love it there....if you need recommendations let me know....Deep history, beautiful scapes, and great tech art atmosphere with SCAD downtown.

I second that. Lived in Ohio for a while. Nicest people I've ever met. Like genuinely nice humans.

Grew up in MI and went to college in IN Moved to Boston after college and quickly learned about that east coast aggression Stuck it out for two years, but recently moved to Seattle to get away from the massholes People say Seattle folk are passive aggressive but I don't see it

Not feeling the “Seattle Freeze”? Only heard about it. Curious if new people to the area experience it (and what life stage they’re at)
