If you’re in the wealth accumulation phase of your life, I think buying a home is a terrible decision (in most cases). Prove me wrong. Seriously. I’m not being rhetorical. I want to see if there’s math that says otherwise.

But for real though... The advantages of consumer mortgage leverage break down at a certain point. (Conforming limits) But for those within the conforming limit it provides up to 32x leverage using a 3% down payment. If you’ve got less than $20k to invest it’s hard to beat RE
