Thus far, what makes the perfect neighborhood/community?
So it appears it's about helping each other. Relying on each other. Wealthy suburbs don't have that as much. They're self sufficient and keep to themselves. In my opinion, this creates zero community.

What interests me at the moment is more middle class areas where the homes are nearish the street with porches. This helps me sit outside more and get to know one another.

Fascinating. 1) always found a big part of NYC magic was/is people interacting everyday due to proximity (relates to porches) also wonder if the 'self-sufficient burbs' are bad for America due to disconnect...
