If you’re in the wealth accumulation phase of your life, I think buying a home is a terrible decision (in most cases). Prove me wrong. Seriously. I’m not being rhetorical. I want to see if there’s math that says otherwise.

Yes and no, I think it's all about understanding what the purpose of buying, you can buy a home just for enjoyment or for investment or for both and each criteria is different

If you wanna be happy and buying makes you happy -- do it! that's the point of $$$. I jsut think it's silly be justify it as "it's a great investment!" Just like the $100 steak I had last night - the ROI is happiness, not $$$ - and that's ok.
