Autonomy doesn’t necessarily mean financial sense. I want that too. But will not justify it with dollar and sense. I will justify it as wanting autonomy aka an emotional decision.

Autonomy is not an emotional decision. As the poster implies, having power to keep working on a week where everyone isn’t is value. Having freedom of movement in a restrictive government is value, not an emotional response.
