I think your situation proves my point. Yours is an income producing asset. Most are not. In those cases, doesn’t seem worth it financially. Emotionally, it could be worth it

I might agree with that. Was just presenting a scenario where buying a home in the “wealth accumulation” phase was a very, very good decision. Realize it may be an edge case. But it shouldn’t be!
