I've built a pretty amazing network from scratch over the last 10 years. It's been my unfair advantage. Humblebrag, I know. The secret of how to do this shocks most people: Uber successful people get excited helping ambitious young people who are doing interesting stuff.

I think many up and comers (I'm that), think "oh this person is too busy, i'm a nobody." Been there. I get that. But ballers wanna be involved with future ballers more than you think...mostly just because it's exciting.

This is a super common theme of all the biographies I read. Andrew Carnegie had Tom Scott Cornelius Vanderbilt had Thomas Gibbons And many more. Not everyone great had this. But many did.
