So here’s the thing...if my brain goes back to being 10, the knowledge I have as a 34 year old—about the world and my own future—would be too much to handle and process But skipping forward 11 years and missing a huge chunk of my son’s life... I’ll take the present, thanks.

Then there’s the possibility of being able to change the present based on your knowledge. Thus having known your child but it never being a reality anymore. No thanks. Present for me too.
