      Woke up today to ppl trying to reset my passwords and hack into my accounts, vicious, disgusting threats. Apparently a bunch of VCs, tech ppl etc spent all night bashing me in Clubhouse. @pdavison is this the community you sought to cultivate? How do you plan on addressing this?

      As one of the only (possibly the only) tech journalists on Clubhouse, I’ve become shocked and disgusted at what has been taking place on the app in the last 24 hours. How does the company plan to address harassment? Right now it’s basically the worst parts of Discord.

      I loved Clubhouse. I wrote about it so positively because I was so excited about the platform and it’s potential. I believe @pdavison to be a thoughtful leader. But I question the decision to cultivate an exclusive community of rich, powerful, ppl with no accountability

      Intentionally excluding journalists from the platform is incredibly detrimental and has allowed the company to skate by with less scrutiny than it frankly deserves. CH cultivated this community and is allowing these toxic members a safe space to rally their troops against targets

      Calling it toxic isn't even remotely fair. There was lots of different discussions. Not everyone agreed. But not once did I feel anyone's opinion came from a hateful place. Most the people who disagreed with you were respectful.
