Greater density, higher population, generally speaking, imo. I think that the yimby movement is gaining steam, which will help.

I'd go with little villages of decentralized or federalized places. Everything closer to where you live. (Based on what is happening in my country)

Most will look exactly the same. Only NY, NJ, and CA cities will see a great migration. The high cost of living will make people rethink lifestyle choices.

After 9/11 people said no one would return to cities, and definitely never want to work in tall buildings. People return. There’s value in being close to other people.

Post 9/11 people went back to the office in a rather short timeframe. Many people are now learning to work from home and it's becoming a 4 month in habit. Also, the value of authenticity, connection, & community that happens in rural areas, micropolitan, and other smaller cities
