Don’t live there but it’s amazing. Even if the subway ride is as long as train to westchester, the subway comes every 2 minutes instead of every half hour. Also knickerbocker tennis club is in Ditmas—greatest place on earth

One more point - areas in Brooklyn were largely developed around the same time so the areas around DItmas Park have similar housing stock. Neighboring Kensington is an example. If you're looking for WFH in a detached house, it's hard to do better than this part of Brooklyn.
