oooo - I spent most of my adult life 'tithing' to a local church, joyfully. 8 years ago I distanced myself from that world and made a choice on giving. I started giving liberally to people in minimum wage jobs. I keep cash handy and give $20's to strangers. Game-changing.

Yeah. I started carrying 20s and way over tipping for small stuff. It's a win-win. Good hardworking people get a special, even if smallish, bump and I get good service if I come back!

<1%. I give to my priest that goes to India to feed an educate poor kids. I don't trust most charities and I don't know who to trust. I continue to accumulate savings & help people around me. When I am older and have free time and more capital, I will do my own charity.

What about you, if you don't mind sharing? BTW love the podcast.
