Prediction: As mad as I am at the NYT...I think they're shockingly undervalued and their market cap will be MUCH bigger in the next 12-24 months. Disclosure: I don't know shit about public markets.

100% agree. They’ve lost the script on news in some places but have killed it on building beginnings of a lifestyle bundle for yuppies (parenting, cooking, crosswords). Wouldn’t shock me to see them launch a premium job board/reclaim some stalwarts of the old media biz model

What’s also disturbing is being the paper of record, they’re firing their Editorial leaders for an Op-Ed published from the ‘other side’. Or the news today about potentially outing the Codex blogger even though he pleaded it could imperil him. No bueno
