The irony is that the more people who leave the city, the better the city gets for the rest of the people who stay behind. And then the better the city gets, the more people who will want to come to the city and rent and buy. War of attrition.

True. But there are some things SF can’t fix: weather. I’m asking myself: is a 40% decrease in price make it a no brained or not. I’m asking myself this.

I can’t knock anyone else’s decisions to leave, but I have spent the past 5 days back here and the rumors of this place’s demise have been wildly overstated. Weather was beautiful and things felt vibrant. Lots of people appreciating the beauty and buzz more than ever.

The number of people wearing mask would make me stay. Honestly why move somewhere where covid is not taken seriously? For minorities of Asian decent we'd probably also experience greater amounts of racism somewhere else. No brainier to stay imo.
