Do you measure charitable acts by how much sacrifice the giver made to give or how much impact the gift had?

Jesus was clear on it. But it also has to do with the heart behind giving IMO.
I don't believe in Jesus (but respect that you do). I don't want to know his opinion, but yours.

I’ve given substantial $ to charity in my life. Not tooting my own horn but the times when it cost me so much but I felt it was right to give... those are the defining moments. Learning it’s better to give and have the right heart behind giving is crucial for all wealthy people.

When you give $10k out of millions, you don’t feel it. Sure it’s a lot of dollars but it’s different when there is a level that involves sacrifice.
