Why are we measuring charitable acts against each other?
Do you measure charitable acts by how much sacrifice the giver made to give or how much impact the gift had?

Jesus was clear on it. But it also has to do with the heart behind giving IMO.

The widow was recognized for her sacrifice, not her impact (Mark 12:41-44, Luke 21:1-4).

However, as humans we love the stories of smaller efforts (especially when they come from kids) because they’re heartwarming... And an an entrepreneurial kid who is selling shirts to raise $ at 7 is probably going to be a millionaire one day, anyway. Building that pipeline...
