Two things. First, the priority is a productive outcome for the people who were not given the option to leave with the same package; they haven't formally said "no" yet, so I am trying to preserve that path.

Second, because of confidentiality agreements, I need to modulate my response to the risk it poses to the person who informed me of the issue and their level of comfort with the legal action of the company.
