For people who've hired VA's or assistants: what type of manual did you make for them so you two could work well together? Like explaining your challenges, your weaknesses, what you need help with, how you prefer to operate together, what tasks you want them to handle.

Shot in the dark here but I’ve found interactive user guides to be the best way to onboard and train people. So much so that I built my own product for it. When I used to work at Amex part of my job was 1 on 1 walkthroughs so literally userguides with clickable demos includedpic.twitter.com/bAqyS11j4E

Sure, the context is when I use to have to onboard someone new I would have a PowerPoint deck and my browser open and walk them through notes of a step by step process and the show them in the browser me walking through those steps. It was annoying to do and repetive so...

Instead of doing this process repetively I create a user guide and make it available through my app. As part of those guides there are demos which are basically compilations of screenshots that have interactive elements. It’s essential a knowledge base with invision app style...

Demos that a person you share it with can reference at their on pace so once you’ve done the work of compiling your knowledge. They can just reference it all in one place
