Who's their comp? Twilio does $1.2b in rev. Market cap of 26.81b. So, ballpark math, 20x revenue for $1b company that's been around for 20 years. If Ben owns 100%, it's huge. If 50%, still huge.

But he hasn't sold any stock, right? How can he be valued at a 20x revenue if he hasn't sold a share yet though? I get the company trading at that multiple though. Isn't the founder's net worth directly tied to the profits he's able to keep? thanks again for the info.

Ben has two other co-founders Dan and Mark, but email marketing is a very tough and competitive segment with tons of companies, so the multiplier is not 20x. They did force Constant Contact to go private and delist from the stock market. They lost mojo, look what Klaviyo did...
