Moved from SF to Austin in 2005 (really good move) and then Austin to Tucson in 2017, for family (not such a good move). There really is such a thing as too slow, too cheap. Be careful.

There’s no critical mass of engineering or business talent here. So no way to build much less scale anything like you can in ATX or SF. Still, it’s a beautiful place and a special city. Just don’t move here expecting to have a functioning ecosystem to work with or fall back on.
