I’m curious: If you live in San Francisco, are you planning to move outside the Bay Area within the next 6 months?

Seeing a lot folks make the move to Austin (as I did last year). Cost of living, all the major tech players and good size/healthy startup scene, and fantastic nightlife and food. If you do come, please don't ruin it like what happened to SF, Portland, etc... ;)

Love Austin when I visited 5 years ago but even then locals all said everyone moving from CA were ruining the city. Can’t imagine now!

We're looking to buy around the Bay Area - Oakland, Mill Valley, Pleasant Hill, Berkeley etc.

Staying put. Weather and food were big part of the decision before. Now covid comes into consideration. The city had a great response and the number of people wearing mask weighs on the decision as well.

I’m born and raised in Bay Area so it’s hard to imagine leaving. But it’s getting harder and harder to realistically stay, i.e. rent is too high to save significant money to buy a house.

And the question is whether you’re really going to move or just dreaming of a move. Too much
#sip leads to dreams of being somewhere else.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
