1/ People can build a much bigger company with 1 or 2 people than you think. You can make $50 million a year with 4 writers

2/ How to start a brand-new newsletter today: pick a very small but fast-growing niche, know who you’re trying to attract and who you don’t want to attract Then charge more than you think you should, $500-1000 a year, and make sure information you provide is very "utilitarian"

3/ A newsletter can be entertaining and interesting but it has to help you get something done better. Ideally people make money from the information you provide them. Then you get the right kind of customer

4/ Pricing is important, you can charge more than you think. Do annual billing only. That enables great cashflow. Lots of startups charge $5 a month, big mistake. Don’t do freemium either. You want to charge yearly up front

5/ “Launch something tomorrow! Do it fast and don’t think about anything else, just do it!”

6/ Being a good copywriter is the number one skill that you can ever have if you want to make money
