Webflow gives employees a $1,000 bonus the first time they take a vacation that's 5 days or longer. What are some other ways companies are helping employees take a break and prevent burnout?

Is it just me, or is that some soft ass stuff right there. I love Webflow and that company. But...paying people to take time off and giving them PTO? I feel like saying: "hey, take a vacay" will totally do the trick.

Doing the trick vs being outstanding which one is more appealing in a competitive market ?

I just don't think it's outstanding. I love bryant and co. I just think moneys best better elsewhere. IF i worked there, I'd be like ok, let's spend money wisely here. If we do trick vs being outstanding, pay 10x market rate. I think do the trick is sufficient

The idea is to put your money where your mouth is: "we value work/life balance and encourage healthy PTO" is easily said, following through with something to show you actually mean it is on another level. The $1k isn't in lieu of paying market rate, it's a statement of intent!

I feel like you can put your money where your mouth is by saying take a vacay and letting them.
