Webflow gives employees a $1,000 bonus the first time they take a vacation that's 5 days or longer. What are some other ways companies are helping employees take a break and prevent burnout?

Doing the trick vs being outstanding which one is more appealing in a competitive market ?

I just don't think it's outstanding. I love bryant and co. I just think moneys best better elsewhere. IF i worked there, I'd be like ok, let's spend money wisely here. If we do trick vs being outstanding, pay 10x market rate. I think do the trick is sufficient

Yeah that’s something webflow with the $70M+ they raised can do, but that’s not realistic for startups in the trenches.

I would have thought that too but, once I started running Ops for a firm and was invited to a couple of Senior Ops networks, realised lots of senior / key people get burnt out because they don’t prioritise taking time off.

There’s also a financial reason for companies to do this. For companies who don’t offer unlimited time off like Netflix, paying employees to use their PTO saves more money in total than having to pay out PTO when the employee leaves.

likely answer- "hey, take a vacay" works up to a certain headcount (assuming they trust you) once you have lots of employees, very difficult to ensure the message gets through
