I've had two motorcycles stolen in San Francisco. I found both of them (just found the 2nd!). Caught the guy myself the 1st time (but they didn't arrest him). That's 2 for 2. I should run for mayor or police chief of SF...100% success rate.

How did he steal them?!? Kudos for finding the bikes and the thief. Glad for you!
Most have shit wheel and steering locks. You can kick them hard and break them then wheel off the bike.

Unfortunately can also be straight up lifted into a van even if locked.
