@theSamParr your interview on @IndieHackers kicked ass. I enjoyed my instinct to launch freemium stuff get challenged. I think I’m on board that charging ASAP and high is good—what’s your perspective on launching for free until you can find the niche segment that will pay high?

Makes sense. I imagine that would help keep feature development focused on paying users too, rather than people who are interested but will never pay. I just worry there’s an ideal audience segment I’m missing that a free product, growing faster and wider, might reveal.

I think you are right. There is a segment of people who only buy if its free. But isn't that true for restaurants? Clothes? Other stuff. I'm not saying paid > free all the time. No context here. I just think we should change how we think about it.
