BuiltWith is an amazing site that I use regularly. But it's also an amazing business. 1 fulltime employee. $14m a year in revenue. Can you name a business more efficient than that? Let's see em.

I would guess as well but have to ask. Had a friend once who was doing $5mm in revenue per employee. But it was a gold bullion ecom store. Gross profit was like 1%. Whoever the bow girl influencer is also sells a crazy number of bows at target with probably 0 employees

Depends on their infra costs but with one employee it's probably over 90%. We achieved 4mm in revenue in 2003 with no employees and had 85% net margins, but most of the costs went to bandwidth and server capacity which were a lot more expensive than today. Builtwith all text too

We got revenue higher but we had started hiring by then, mainly to create redundancy in case anything happened to us. (One employee is actually a risky idea). I'm sure there are a lot of these super profitable 1 man shop businesses out there built by amazing and creative coders
