Didn't expect this to get so popular. Disclaimer: I do not know 100% if this is true. I don't know the founder. I've heard from friends of friends and read interviews/analysis online from what appear to be reputable sources. So, just showing off stuff I'm found - not first hand

Did some google-fu and got this. Gary Brewer, who runs builtwith might actually have a team behind him. Note: the picture might be outdated.
