Common advice is to delegate stuff, trust your people, let them make decisions. Seems effective, yes. But what about the opposite. 1 person micromanage entire company. They're the dictator. Final say in tiniest detail - what are some examples of these companies being successful?

Perhaps things that seemed like micromanaging where of high impact in that product category and thus worth it. i.e. a headline would be seen by millions But hard to understand the value in it from the outside.
