Today, I called real estate agents in South Florida and in Austin. I asked about 5 houses that I liked. ALL of them are considering offers now 20-30% higher than listing price (rental). All offers from NYC, Boston, and SF. Real estate abt to go up HUGE in 2nd tier cities

You called it! That's what got me calling real estate agents. The first place I really wanted had been on market for over a year. GONE THIS MORNING for 25% higher than the listing price. And the agent had nothing else to offer me. So wasn't playing me at all.
