There's a lot of hype around paid newsletters and podcasts, but there should be even more hype around online courses. People want a defined benefit over a finite period of time.
Historically publishers packaging content as course is a much smaller business than as ongoing newsletters, online news, and similar packaging/positioning. There may be a few (but I can't think of any) that've passed $500m in rev. There are more doing it the other way succesuly
