I believe the majority of Trump’s real estate holdings are parking garages. When he leases his name for hotels or apartments, he often tries to own the adjoining parking structure outright. Fantastic for taxes, in regard to depreciation.

There was an excellent article about this published 12 or 18 months ago in one of the major business journals. It had a graphic of each real estate property and the majority was parking. I can’t find the link but it was a fantastic article.
