Is it just me, or has the antipathy between high profile tech folks and high profile tech journalists really come to a head since Covid-19?
As writers get more desperate where value is determined by page views, they're started to create nuttier stuff...and it is making people angry.

It reads to me like a deeper dislike that’s pouring out. Like media reflexively dunks on tech, but it really backfired w CV. Rather than back down and lose face, they resort to ad hominem. Tech response is deep seeded anger over constant dunking.

What's funny is media IS tech. VCs fund most of these companies or they're owned by tech billionaires. The tech journos are techies. Went to elite uni. Everyone's the same. Yet, they was an us vs them thing because it seems cool to not be on the insider crowd (but they r insde)
