Very easy sport to access. Don't need the $$$ that football, tennis, baseball, or hockey do. Results in tons of kids playing and an incredible amount of supreme athletes rising to the top. Not a surprise to me that the sport is booming worldwide whatsoever.
In 2018, the average NBA team made $267m in revenue, with $61m in operating profit, with annual revenue growth of 13% and was valued at $1.87b.
