This always annoys me: when some journalists refer to people as “techies” as they’re the other. Dog, most ur revenue is digital. You have a substack. You talk to “techies” all day. You spend huge time on Twitter. You likely went to an elite uni. YOU ARE A YUPPIE TECHIE.
And if you work as washpo, buzzfeed, vox, Wsj or many others: you’re funded/owned by tech billionaires. Which isn’t bad. BUT YOURE A TECHIE. Can’t stand this us vs. them crap.
