It's so misleading. Setting this up as a rich vs poor thing. Like: "CAN YOU BELIEVE THE RICH CAN GO OUT RIGHT NOW AND BUY A $300,000 CAR!? FERRARIS, BENTLEYS...THEY CAN BUY ANYTHING!!!!" Uh yea, you can also buy a used Camry or Honda for $5k.
Plus, it's in the "Technology" section. This is a story about housing in the Bay Area. Should stories on housing in LA be in the arts section? The writer is from ValleyWag, whose schtick was to mock tech people.
I get it. Mocking people, when funny, is needed. Lets laugh at ourselves. And, like any group, there can be dbags and they deserve to be called out. Fair. But I think these types of articles are unnecessarily divisive when the first few lines say its the same rules for everyone
