My friend just got laid off along with 400 other employees by dialing into a pre-recorded Zoom message. Her manager never even called to say goodbye. The virus may be out of your control, but how humanely you handle it is not.

I don’t understand this insult. You’re saying “The people who hurt the community are now being hurt”. So who’s the bad person here?

no, the owners of the scooter companies who dropped thousands of scooters on our sidewalks & bribed their way into staying by writing local governments checks have now treated people who needed jobs unethically also. i don’t blame people who needed jobs for working for them.
