If you got laid off from your company right now, given the circumstances, what would be a fair severance to both you & the company (presumably also struggling)?

Also, morally, anything less than a month feels unfair even in a good environment. Nobody deserves to be without an income to live life.
How many jobs in America do you think give more than 4 weeks severance? I can’t imagine that many.

I think 1-2 week per year is common and fair. Perhaps should add “how many weeks/months per year worked at the company”.
