I do not understand why most companies do not charge more. I think most people undercharge because 1) they copy others 2) an employee doesn't wanna suggest charging more and looking stupid/get fired 3) media folk/journalists want to be affordable for everyone

But...with $540k a year in subscription revenue...that's nothing. You might as well make it free. I think a company like Runners World could surely make tens of millions in subscription revenue, training plans, and other things like that...if they got their pricing right.

@theSamParr big fan of the @TheHustle but I have mixed feelings about this post. Does this mean that if a company wants to advertise with @TheHustle they should not expect an ROI? Or is it up to the company to determine if it is a good idea to advertise with @TheHustle?

How did you come to that conclusion? I see zero connection.

Wasn't trying to be rude. Was simply thinking in the Advertising space @TheHustle has a ceiling on what the company can charge customers before it doesn't make sense to advertise. If that is true then 10x ing the price may not drive an ROI for advertisers.

In the case of @runnersworld, I would hope they tested their price and came to $30 is a reasonable number considering the @nytimes $96 a year.
