It’s certainly more challenging to communicate with people who speak diff languages or connect with people from very different cultures vs folks who live in your own country, grew up similarly, and that type of thing.
Can't say the same for countries like India which has more English speaking workforce than entire NA combined, more so in tech.
Well there's still a massive cultural difference. I've worked with and/or hired many people who lived in India as well as Indians who lived in America for a while. Very big difference.
