As someone wanting to start a company but has ZERO safety net, I think about this often. I grew up poor and don’t have a circle of wealthy Friends & Family. If I fail, no one can bail me out or help support my kids. Taking risk is a privilege.https://twitter.com/orangebook_/status/1236296122739691523 …

I also think if you’re not willing to risk it, maybe you shouldn’t do it. Being bold isn’t for most and that’s ok.

Are the people who have no choice but to risk those things ignorant and arrogant? Or do they do it because they have to or are willing to risk it because they want it that bad? I’d say number 2.

The fact is ur either to bet it all or not. The ones who are have a chance. Small one, but still. And the ones who don’t do not.Success is a bell curve it’s because most people are not willing. And that’s perfectly ok. But to say those who are narcissistic or to discourage them...

So the immigrant corner store owner, they did it out of narcissism? That’s fine I’m just trying to understand your thoughts. I think I start my companies out of narcissism too in that I have supreme belief in my self. I guess I call it confidence, but I don’t care.
