I get this a lot when I ask people about minimum wage. They "aren't educated enough" to have an opinion on it. hmmm, dunno.https://twitter.com/theSamParr/status/1234613208435974144 …

What would you prefer? Minimum wage is something I haven't thought about since I was 15 and got my first job. I quickly grew out of it as I learned more skills that were in high demand.

You are a CEO right? Do you pay your workers below min wage? Probably not. You also applied to work at Uber so you are educated on the company. Don't know what to tell you, just seems a bit of a cop out to not even be willing to support minimum wage for full time workers.

No. The people we hire have competitive skills so we have to pay a lot because of supply and demand. But for low skilled jobs, we use people overseas as the pay is cheaper.

You pay people overseas below their countries min wage?

We follow the laws. Some countries do not have a minimum wage though. And when you use Upwork, you can get workers for $2-$5 an hour vs SF where it's much more expensive.
