If you want to try to build a massive company fast, raise VC. It’s a low likelihood it will work, but you’re attempting to create something world class, so of course it’s rare. I don’t understand why you’d hate VCs for that.

The odds of raising VC and succeeding at going big, fast = very low. Odds of doing the same bootstrapped = nearly impossible. Regardless, I don’t hate VC. People who are bold enough to go for it, good for them.

For such a confident man you seem very concerned about my opinions, to the point of using a word I never used. I hope your life is full, loving, and prosperous.

WTF are you talking about? You’re tweeting about VC. I’m commenting in hopes of having a conversation about an interesting topic related to business. Your replies mock me vs contribute to a convo. You clearly have some chip on your shoulder and or are nuts.

Ah yes the old “someone disagrees with me and/or my communication style so they must be be nuts” logic. Did you have any value to add or were you just here to self promote?

No. That’s not the logic. Here’s what happened. you: “I feel this way about VC. Let’s discuss” Me: “I feel this other way. Let’s discuss.” You: “you have a fake check mark. Why? Are you a confident man? What’s wrong with you?”

Here’s what happened: I stated an opinion. You repeated my words to me and made up some things about it. Live in reality, not your own projections.
