There’s no wasted space. Every post is concise but thorough. It answers questions I’m thinking about and opens up new questions I didn’t even know to ask. It surveys the space and drops knowledge tough to find elsewhere (X uses Y software, holding company A owns B & C, etc).
I think the most important thing is niche. If I wrote a 100,000 essay about you, you’d read. The more relevant, the better. Niches make riches

Spot on. It comes down to this.. there’s not a single other newsletter I can think of focused on operating a media company.
