I'm fascinated by family dynasties. Families who work together, build businesses, stay close...but over many generations. Like the Kennedys, Pritzers, Tisch, Rockefellers. What are some good bios on families like these? Or books on the concept?

Example: Rockefller ran Standard Oil with his brother. His son built the Rockefeller Center and expanded into real estate. His wife helped start famous colleges.

Joe Kennedy got rich through all types of schemes. He did so so his kids could go into gov. He had 8 kids. Many went into public service and they helped each other along the way.

One of the closest things today for Kennedys: the Kardashians! The Kennedy kids, when they were young, were in the tabloids when they traveled abroad. They were famous for their white teeth and blonde hair.

It’s not totally the same but kinda. Joe was famous for being a schemer and his family was famous for how they looked, what they represented, and for being very American. Kinda famous for being famous.

Can’t forget how Irish catholic folks were looked upon at the time. Different from why the Kardashians are looked down upon but some similarities there

Yeah. Joe was kinda like Kris. Pimped his kids out into politics. He wanted to be president but didn’t so pushed his kids into it. He was a good dad but for sure lived through them.
